AJH Synth to Shack Up with Doepfer at SUPERBOOTH26, Celebrating Ten Years of Superbooth in Berlin
Come one, come all: visit AJH Synth and Doepfer in the Bungalowdorf area between May 7-9 at FEZ-Berlin
Berlin, Germany, April 13, 2026 — AJH Synth announces its return to Superbooth, to be held at FEZ-Berlin between May 7 and 9, 2026. Since 2016, Superbooth has served as a mecca for synth enthusiasts and electronic music creators from all over the world. This year, AJH Synth will be exhibiting alongside Doepfer in the Bungalowdorf area, booth B031.
With the launch of its A-100 modular system at Musikmesse in 1996, Dieter Doepfer and Doepfer Musikelektronik inspired manufacturers from all around the world, including AJH Synth, to join in what would become the Eurorack 'movement' - building on an open-source set of specifications for compact synthesisers that are 3U high, use 3.5mm connector jacks, and 12V power supplies.
During SUPERBOOTH26, AJH Synth will demonstrate its most recent modules including the Matrix VCF multimode filter, which features different filter types and two different resonance options for a total of 32 assorted resonant filters in a single 14 HP analogue Eurorack module. This module and other favorites from AJH Synth will be paired with the new Doepfer A-155-2 Mini Analog Sequencer, a powerful and flexible sequencer in an incredibly compact footprint.
"I've known the folks at Doepfer for several years and we've become very good friends," said Allan Hall, founder of AJH Synth. "Both our brands are distributed by Alex4 in Berlin, which was originally set up to distribute Doepfer by Andreas Schneider. Of course from my perspective, Doepfer was the company that started the Eurorack format, and without them, I'd probably still be doing synth DIY projects and hand soldering a few 5U modules rather than creating AJH Synth."

Modules developed in conjunction with Tone Science
In addition to its new Matrix VCF Multimode Filter, AJH Synth will also have two recently modules on hand which were developed in conjunction with Ian Boddy of Tone Science: the Chance Delay and Triple Cross XFader Panner.
Chance Delay introduces dynamic and fully controllable elements of randomness into the mix, combining random chance with gate delay and gate conditioning. It offers both manual and external CV control. Meanwhile, the Triple Cross XFader Panner enables creative ways of combining and processing both CV and audio signals, featuring three independent cross fader and panner channels.

About AJH Synth
AJH Synth is headed up by Allan J Hall, who has been involved with synths, electronics and music for several decades. He started by building a guitar fuzz box at the tender age of 12 and his interest in synthesisers and electronic music soon followed, fuelled by an unhealthy overexposure to early Tangerine Dream, Pink Floyd, Vangelis and Kitaro. For the last 15
years he has been building and modding synth systems both for himself and other electronic musicians, as well as spending some time as a semi-pro musician playing keyboards in several rock and tribute bands. Allan spent five years as a service technician repairing and modifying Moog, Arp, Korg, Roland and other analogue synthesisers along with some Pro Audio design work, previous to this he spent two years designing and building "boutique" valve (tube) guitar amplifiers. AJH Synth are based near Durham, in the northeast of England, where this small but enthusiastic bunch of synth heads now indulge their passion for all things modular.
