Unlock The Power of Music Transcription with klang.io Transcription Studio: The First AI Suite for Multiple Instruments

Transcribe instruments from any source to precise sheet music, tablature, or MIDI with ease

Karlsruhe, DE, March 18, 2026 — Klang.io announces Transcription Studio – the world’s first AI music tool suite that can identify and transcribe multiple instruments simultaneously and quickly into sheet music, tablature, or MIDI. Designed to empower musicians and music creators at any skill level, Transcription Studio is a straightforward, plug-and-play experience that makes it easier than ever before to integrate transcription into your musical learning, composition, or music production workflows.

Transcription Studio is available as both an online tool and as a DAW plugin. Try it now for free by clicking here.

Upload, Transcribe, Create, Collaborate
Designed as a versatile, easy-to-use transcription platform, Transcription Studio enables professional and hobbyist musicians to document and communicate even the most complex of musical ideas in the notation output of their choice. Not only does this provide a valuable, time-saving tool for educational and professional applications, it also makes it easier for musical collaborators of different genre backgrounds or experience levels to communicate and create together.

Transcription Studio offers three smart modes to adapt to any style or musical goal. Universal Mode is an all-purpose mode designed to cover a wide range of readily-available instrumentation such as voice, piano, and guitar which is ideal for learning, songwriting, or audio production. Classic Mode is fine-tuned for orchestral instrumentation such as strings and wind instruments, making it a valuable tool for more advanced composition and ensemble arrangement. Rock Mode is designed for bands, with the specific ability to accurately identify and transcribe complex, electric guitar-heavy arrangements. All three can be customized within the Transcription Wizard to dial in specifics such as quantization settings or hand separation for piano pieces to ensure the precise, personalized results.

Once the appropriate mode has been selected, users have the option of either uploading audio files, inserting YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok links, or playing directly into the microphone to begin the transcription process. Transcription Studio’s AI models will then detect the separate instruments, analyze the chords, melody, and rhythm of the piece, and transcribe them. Additional editing can then be done via an integrated Notation Editor with easy tools for transposing, correction, or piano hand-splitting before outputting in the desired format, such as sheet music to PDF and Music XML, guitar tablature to GuitarPro, and/or MIDI information for use in the DAW of your choice. The total process is completed in under 30 seconds, allowing users to spend more time focusing on creating and performing while utilizing their transcriptions however they see fit.

klang.io founders Sebastian Murgul and Alexander Lüngen

“Transcription is an essential skill in music that, until recently, has only been accessible to those with traditional musical training,” states klang.io Founder/CEO Sebastian Murgul. “Klang.io’s mission from the beginning has been to create AI-powered tools that can unlock this process for everyone, and provide a streamlined access point for music makers or performers of any educational background or genre to use it to learn, communicate, and collaborate more effectively.”

“We leverage AI technology in service of human creativity rather than replacing it to make the process more efficient and allow people to focus on doing the fun, creative work that has always been at the heart of music-making.”
