UJAM Launches Voxcraft, a Creative Vocal Multi-Effect Plugin

A creative playground for singers and producers to craft distinctive, mix-ready vocals.

Berlin, Germany, February 18, 2026 — UJAM introduces Voxcraft, a creative vocal multi-effect plugin designed to help vocals sit confidently in a mix with clarity, character, and movement. Marking the company’s first title dedicated to vocal processing, Voxcraft applies UJAM’s familiar no-fuss design approach to vocal production, offering a fast and intuitive way to shape distinctive, production-ready vocal sounds.

Rather than focusing on vocal repair or cleanup, Voxcraft is built for creative processing and sound design. At its core is a voice-shaping section that allows users to transform vocals through tuning, formant shifting, and voice multiplication, followed by a curated chain of vocal-optimized effects for dynamics, character, filtering, delay, reverb, and rhythmic chopping. Together, these tools turn raw vocal recordings, samples, and loops into expressive, mix-ready results, ranging from vintage-inspired and lo-fi textures to distorted, chopped, and futuristic vocal effects, without the need to stack multiple plug-ins.

Jam City, a songwriter and producer known for work with Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Yachty, and Kelela, has been using Voxcraft in recent projects, calling it “truly transformative for vocals and effective on other audio sources too,” adding, “I’ll be having fun with this for a long time to come.”

Peter Gorges, Co-Founder of UJAM, underscored the plugin’s creative-first intent. “To maximize flow and inspiration and eliminate frustration with technicalities, we deliberately designed the interface so there are no ‘wrong’ choices.”

About UJAM
UJAM was co-founded by Hans Zimmer and Pharrell Williams, both musicians whose careers have been significantly supported by technology. The vision behind UJAM is to make technology even more accessible and encourage even more people to make music.

This vision is being realized by a team of virtual instrument pioneers who had previously developed legendary virtual instruments from Steinberg and Digidesign — from Steinberg Hypersonic to Virtual Guitarist, from Digidesign Xpand to Transfuser — and who finally want to realize their vision of shortening the path from the idea to the perfect track. More fun, better results, less complexity.
