SUPERBOOTH26: AEA Ribbon Mics Exhibiting Full Line of Microphones, DI Boxes, and Preamps

Berlin, Germany, April 30, 2026 — AEA Ribbon Mics, a leading manufacturer of American-made ribbon microphones and preamps, will exhibit at SUPERBOOTH26, taking place May 7–9 at FEZ-Berlin. AEA will be located at Booth 0127 in partnership with its regional distributor, Klemm Music Technology.

On display, AEA will feature its TDI and TDI Duo, phantom-powered direct boxes designed for clean, reliable signal transfer with modern electronic instruments. The TDI Duo preserves stereo imaging while converting unbalanced outputs to balanced XLR, helping maintain signal integrity and reduce noise over longer cable runs. Built around an ultra-low-noise JFET buffer and transformer-based design, both units provide consistent headroom and low-end detail in live and studio environments.

Also at the booth, attendees can experience AEA’s signature lineup of ribbon microphones through an interactive listening station. Models including the R88 Series, Nuvo Series, KU Series, R84 Series, and R44 Series will be available to audition using AEA preamps and headphones.

Visitors to SUPERBOOTH26 can stop by Booth 0127 to explore AEA’s lineup in person. For tickets and more information, visit www.superbooth.com.

About AEA Ribbon Mics
Founded in 1964, AEA began as a record label and mobile recording studio before expanding into microphone repairs and full-scale manufacturing. In 1998, AEA introduced the R44C — an evolution of the iconic RCA 44BX — and has since developed a full range of microphones and preamps inspired by classic designs and built to modern standards. With a commitment to ultra-low noise circuitry, musical sound, and expert craftsmanship, AEA continues to push ribbon technology forward while honoring its legacy. All AEA products are proudly handcrafted in Pasadena, California.
