At its core, Merak features a high-quality audio architecture built around a CS43131 DAC and TPA6120 amplifier, supporting playback up to 16-bit/96kHz. Engineered for reliability and performance, the Merak incorporates a professional-grade CD mechanism and servo system to ensure stable, accurate disc reading. Beyond traditional CD playback, Merak functions as a flexible digital hub. An optical output with a low-jitter clock allows it to operate as a dedicated digital transport when paired with an external DAC, while USB playback and one-touch CD ripping enable users to archive their music library in lossless WAV format.
