ADE 2024: Bjooks to host preview of the Minimoog book and feature performances from Surco, and Trovarsi & Alex-106

Amsterdam, Netherlands, October 7, 2024 — Independent Danish publisher Bjooks, celebrated for its beautifully crafted and visually stunning books on music technology, will be showcasing The Minimoog Book at ADE 2024. Written by JoE Silva, this new release is the definitive volume on the most iconic synthesizer of all time. Attendees at ADE 2024 will also have the chance to visit the Bjooks' Lab Living Space, where they can enjoy live performances by Surco, Trovarsi, and ALX-106. ADE 2024 will take place from October 16-20 in Amsterdam.

Attendees at ADE will be among the first in the world to explore the highly anticipated 384-page book, which includes over 100 interviews, more than 700 photographs, and the most comprehensive presentation of the Minimoog’s history and influence ever assembled. In the Lab Living Area, you can experience all things Bjooks: browse books on music tech, try modular synthesis, explore drum machines, meet founder, and author Kim Bjørn, and experience the artist performances.

Customers attending ADE 2024 will be able to order copies of the new Minimoog book and learn about the upcoming Bjooks Club, set to launch this fall, with more information available soon.

Trovarsi, a Los Angeles-based music composer and live performance artist, brings a unique sound to the electronic music scene, blending modular and analog synths with drum machines to create a pulsing atmosphere in her sets.

ALX-106, the alias of producer Alex Anderson, is known for engaging live performances primarily utilizing modular synthesizers. His productions range from deep house to downtempo and ambient, creating a smooth yet energetic sound. ALX-106 frequently collaborates with Trovarsi in their duo, presenting an improvised, melodic, and driving live techno act that showcases their shared passion for hardware-driven electronic music.
